  • Idea germinated in fall 1997
  • First tree planting in April 1998

  • Over 300 new trees planted representing over 225 tree varieties

  • Additional path construction creating continuous loop around arboretum perimeter
  • 113 trees sponsored/ over 180 trees available for sponsorship
  • 13 teak benches sponsored/ 5 benches available for sponsorship
  • Over $900,000 in park improvements as of Summer 2005"
